I ought to put the record straight - Woolboy's not really animation at all. In fact, it's all full-motion real live film. It looks a bit flickery, and that's an intended effect. I think it makes a lot more sense if you view it in the context of the whole film "North Sea Circle" which you can find on Youtube, Google Video and MyspaceTV.
